Antique bronzes from Morocco and the Mediterranean.

Thanks to the exceptionnal loans of part of the national treasures of the antique bronzes collection of Morocco discovered in Volubilis, the MuCEM presented one of the major aspects of the antique history of the Mediterranean area.
The exhibition is the expression of what the Mediterranean area was at the antique period : a vast open area where men travelled since the Ist millenial before J.-C. from Tyr to Cartharge, from Anatolia to the Atlantic and through the Black Sea, from Phocae to Marseille, from Miletus to Olbia and from Thera to Kyrenia...
