Guggenheim, Bilbao

This exhibition is a repeat at the Guggenheim in Bilbao of the great Parisian retrospective dedicated to Niki de Saint Phalle. Focused on her “Nana” series, the exhibition gives place to her feminist statements on the status of women in the arts world. The event also shows the multiple sides of the artist’s work: painter, sculptor, engraver, performer and film-maker of experimental cinema. Behing a very positive and colourful work, Niki de Saint Phalle is famous for her confident claim for change in social norms.
