The urban comedy.

Through a nearly exclusive use of a unique material (ripped posters), Jacques Villeglé developed an astonishing formal wealth. This exhibition, the first retrospective of the artist in France, shows more than a hundred works from the 1940s until today and approaches thematically his career history from his large abstract coloured compositions to his recent juxtapositions from concert posters.
