17.10.07 - 11.02.08
Galerie 1, Centre Pompidou, Paris

The exhibition was organised in partnership with the Alberto and Anne Giacometti Foundation, gathering more than 600 works. It covered for the first time the whole of Giacometti's creation : paintings, sculptures, decorative objects, drawings, engravings, writings. The museum invites the visitor to see the artist's creations through a new look in which the studio is his laboratory. The exhibition essentially shows works of the Foundation's collection and gives great importance to the outreach of his sculpted work, revealing unknown aspects of the artist's Oeuvre.
